Job Title: -- Senior Electrical Estimator Job Summary: --Produce electrical estimates and budgets. Reports to: -- Chief Estimator Job Location & Hours: -- Los Alamitos, CA office; M-F 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -- -Quantitative take-off and computer entry -Prepare scope letters, and proposals -Maintain relationships with customers, General Contractors, and vendors -Perform Design/Build, conceptual, and budget estimates -Attend job-walks, pre-bid and scope clarification meetings -Coordinate the efforts of junior and staff-level resources in performing take-offs, issuing bills of material to vendors, and obtaining subcontractor quotes -Coordinate efforts with the Operations Department Qualifications: -- -5+ years of progressive electrical estimating experience in the commercial and/or public works electrical construction industry -Effective verbal and written communications skills -Computer literate, productive with fundamental programs such as Word and Excel, and proficient with contemporary estimating systems (Accubid a plus) -Ability to interpret incomplete electrical engineering documents and fill in the missing components -Knowledge of local codes and requirements -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -High School diploma or equivalent required Accepting Applications: July 16, 2013 through August 2, 2013 We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
