Job Title: Creative Assistant Job Description: Design for love, a female apparel and accessory design and manufacturing company based in Yaba, Lagos is looking for a personable, organized individual to assist the owner and the creative team. The environment is laid back but can be fast paced at times. We have a small team and work closely together. This position requires flexibility and dedication. The right candidate should be detail oriented, organized, and a strong sense of time management and extremely comfortable working in groups. Job Status: 6 days /week Job Responsibilities: • Assisting the owner with client management, office support, creative development, planning, research, and project management. • Scheduling meetings with clients • Prioritizing and managing tasks • Coordinating and communicating with owner, clients, and creative team • Following up with clients through email and/or phone on ongoing projects. • Creating invoices and estimates, marketing campaigns and proposals. • Assisting with new ideas and strategies for business development • Keeping office presentable Job Requirements: • creative flair and an eye for pattern and colour, ability to illustrate will be an added advantage commercial awareness and knowledge of the current market, a good understanding of garment construction and costing. • Detail oriented • Strong Interpersonal and Creative Skills. • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to communicate efficiently with clients and design team. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, Comfortable with calls coming in and going out (good phone personality). • Professionalism and Positive Attitude • Good time management Skills / able to multi task • the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, might be require to work early morning or late evenings. • good negotiation skills for working with customers and suppliers • Confidence and self-motivation. • Proficiency in all Adobe Suite Design Programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and any other related programs. (Preferred, not required) Ability to use social media as an effective form of marketing, provide innovative ideas to promote the marketing and advertising campaigns in the interest of the fashion business. Candidates living within the mainland area will be most preferred.
