Job Title : Director of Sales Company : A new boutique hotel 3 starts Job Description : A new 3 stars boutique hotel is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to fill the position. This position will report to the General Manager Main Job Functions are as follows: - Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. - The main responsibility is to manage the total sales efforts within the local market to generate pro-actively revenue for the hotel. - Meet the sales target set within the given deadline. -Directs promotional and marketing development and coordinates sales for targeted markets. -Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representative. -Analyzes and controls expenditures of sales department to conform to budgetary requirements. -Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, weekly sales reports, and market segment tracking. - In charge of all tour operator contracts. Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing this market segment for the hotel. - Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales. -Assist in marketing and product development via targeted mailing, trade shows and sales calls. REQUIREMENTS: ● Hospitality qualification or university graduates preferred ● At least 5 years leading a sales team in a 3-4 star hotel ● Proven track record in hotel sales and marketing in improving market share, rates, occupancy and yield ● Effective selling skills and techniques ● Fluency in English spoken and written jobsinjo/jobs/director-of-sales/id/2387
