Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Raleigh N.C. Were looking for strong team players with great communication skills & the ability to explain complex solutions in a simple way. The successful candidate will have proven ability to resolve complex technical problems, multitask, and be dedicated to customer success. A willingness to adapt, overcome and succeed in a constantly changing business and technical environment is necessary. Candidate will be providing technical support to US Federal Government Customers. Because this role is in support of the US Federal Government, the applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship. Candidate must be willing to submit to a polygraph examination. TS/SCI preferred, but can hire at a Secret to be able to be sponsored or upgraded to a full TS/SCI. Candidates will need to be efficient in security, wireless, voice, or collaboration. Required Skills: Security • Required Minimum level of CCNP Security • In-depth knowledge of firewall and network engineer background • Route and switch experience • ASA, firewall, ISE, Security access control Required Skills - Wireless: • Required Minimum level of CCNP Wireless or CCIE Wireless written • In-depth knowledge of Wireless Controllers and AP’s • Knowledge of Wireless communication protocols • Route and switch experience • Recommended not required CCNP R&S Require Skills – Data Center Engineer · Nexus · Vmware · Systems Initiatives. Voice / Collaboration: • Minimum level of CCNP Voice or CCIE Voice/Collaboration written • In-depth knowledge of CUCM 8.x and beyond • Knowledge of CUCM troubleshooting tools such as RTMT • Experience with IOS Gateways/CUBES • Knowledge of MGCP, SIP, SCCP • Not required but recommended Video experience • Not required but recommend Unity experience Desired Skills: --Ability to configure, analyze and troubleshoot highly complex networks. --Proven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure. --Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of factors. --Strong documentation skills--to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and Trainings. --Excellent verbal communication skills--these skills are essential for this engineering role as most of the work being done is through the phone. --Very strong Problem Solving skills-- --Ability to drive recreates remotely--Many issues result in the engineer needing to perform a recreate of the customer problem in order to isolate the issue and resolve. --Extensive Customer Service skills and experience. --Experience in more than one is a plus. --Candidate must demonstrate strong collaboration skills and be effective in working within a team environment. Knowledge sharing amongst the team members is paramount.
