Education : Bachelor’s degree from top programs, preferably in engineering, business administration, and/or economics Job Description : SunnyLand, a renewable energy startup commercializing innovative solar technologies, is seeking an experienced and high performing Supply Chain Analyst and a Pupblic Relation Manager. The candidate will be responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with Sunnyland’s needs for achieving an efficient, cost-effective and high-performing supply chain to support all technology development efforts. This role will require superior interpersonal skills to successfully manage vendor relationships, analytical skills required to understand and project supply requirements, and superb attention to detail. The position is further responsible for the timely planning, scheduling of receipt, and inventory control of the products and services requisitioned. This position will be a part of Sunnyland’s Corporate Development team. Responsibilities include: Securing and analyzing quotations, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and recommending suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness Initiating purchase orders and amendments for parts, services, and special tools Managing inventory for products and services consistent with production and product development requirements Coordinating quality matters and engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers Studying market trends, engineering developments and manufacturing process improvements, and maintaining procurement alignment with this direction Evaluating current and prospective suppliers in respect to their supply capabilities, and competence in transportation logistics, inventory control and overall management Conducting onsite reviews of supplier facilities to qualify them as new sources and assist in the resolution of production, design, quality, and/or delivery issues.
