#Job Vacancy : Operations Manager Job Type : Management Location : Lebanon, Beirut Company : Confidential Operations Manager with 5 to 7 years experience in sales and distribution / channel management / field trade marketing, needed for a leading multinational company in Lebanon. The Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of territory management and field force deployment. He/she will establish very close links with the trade and play an active role in the implementation of trade programs. He/she will implement trade and key account agreements and/or monitor compliance checks. Incumbent will report findings to relevant consumer and trade marketing functions and will liaise very closely with the local brand team as well as other trade and marketing functions externally. Job Requirements: - 5 to 7 years experience in sales and distribution / channel management / field trade marketing. - University degree in business administration or any other related field. - Fluent English and Arabic. - Proven financial skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Office, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc..) - People development, coaching and counseling skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Knowledge in legislation and external relations is desirable. - Proven skills in management and leadership. - Territory and field force planning and management. - Negotiation Skills. - Process/Project Management skills. - Trade Research. - Trade Segmentation. - Analysis and problem solving skills. - Customer service oriented. - Territory and Field Force Planning and Management. - Key account management skills. - Merchandising Management skills. Job Description: - Responsible for effective implementation of sales, distribution, through-the-line marketing strategies including merchandising, shelf-space, and promotional programs. - Monitors progress, as well as the quality of materials used and recommends corrective action where necessary. - Works in close collaboration with respective managers in Consumer Marketing, as well as Operations Support in order to ensure alignment and integrated activities. - Responsible for territory planning & management, field force deployment decisions as well as coaching, developing and motivating personnel in the consumer and trade marketing field operations group. - Responsible for field intelligence (i.e. Retail audit analysis and evaluation, data gathering, execution KPI monitoring and reporting consumer and trade marketing results to Consumer and Trade Marketing Head / GM and Consumer Marketing Head). - Contributes to evaluation of ROI and suggest real time corrective actions to execution of plans, if necessary. - Responsible for trade relationship management with distributors and retailers. - Depending on market dynamics, ensure implementation of Trade and key account agreements and /or monitor its compliance. - Work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager for the execution of special events, sponsorship implementation and other key consumer and trade marketing events. - Collaborate with respective managers in Development & Planning to translate the brand strategy into plans. - Provide all the necessary input to the A&SP process related to trade programs and consistently monitor progress against budget. Where required take corrective actions to insure budget is met. - Apply trade research, competitive intelligence and strategic insight to evaluate consumer buying behavior. - Analyze and apply laws and regulations governing employment terms and conditions. - Actively participate in a group, understand the group’s value and dynamics, listen to other members, express ideas to other group members, sensitive to group members’ ideas and views, willing to compromise to best accomplish goals and work as a team member to best accomplish goals. Working days and hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 am till 05:00 pm. Salary & Compensation: While the salary and benefits depend on the level of experience and competences of potential candidates, the Operations Manager position offers an Annual Base Salary (ABS): between 60,000 – 100,000 USD, bonus: 15% of ABS, medical insurance for employee and dependents, life insurance for employee only, and schooling up to 6,000 USD/ school year /child (maximum 3 children) (after completing 1 year of employment).
