Job Vacancy Social Media and IT Officer The Jordan Restaurant Association is looking for a creative, motivated and energetic individual to fulfil this role. Job type: Full-time or Part Time Job Role: The Social Media and IT Officer will be responsible for following up and updating the JRA website, in addition to create the company’s social media strategy and must have a wide social media and web development background. Job Responsibilities: -Responsible for maintaining and updating the website on a daily basis with exciting content. -Use e-marketing and social media to communication information and updates about restaurants offers, tourism sector development...etc -Create a comprehensive social media strategy in which to manage and Administer JRA various social media and e-marketing tools used, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs and how to interact daily with clients. -Measure the impact of social media on JRA members and how it helps in marketing them. -Responsible for designing programs that in line with current and new social media trends. -Create and administer a social media plan to participate with discussions on relevant sites of Jordan tourism and restaurants. -In house updates of JRA website and attract / sell ads thru Facebook and personal contacts -Overall successful candidate shall be responsible TO; increase JRA presence and visibility in Social media, participate, interact, advertise, booking, help, customer care, and PR. Job Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or IT or any related field. -2-4 years of experience in social media and website development. -Excellent communication skills. -Very good in written and spoken -English. -The ideal candidate must be creative. -The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
