Bloomberg Television Africa invites applications from interested and qualified candidates to apply for the underlisted position: Job Title: Reporter Job Reference Number: EDI002REP Job Location: Lagos Responsibilities Gather news information and prepare for presentation on air, on line and on mobile platforms. Perform on-air reporting responsibilities for designated newscast or program across multiple platforms. Gather, report, edit, write, prepare and/or assemble, and present story content in a fair, accurate and unbiased manner Identify and generate story ideas, research and set up the content and interviews News Reporting and analysis Requirements BSc/HND in Journalism, Mass Communication or related field, or equivalent work experience At least 3 years of experience as a television reporter. Financial or business journalism experience is desirable Experience in a variety of on-air reporting functions including anchoring, investigations, franchises, etc. Ability to work in a real-time news environment Proven track record of strong writing, storytelling and live reporting skills Very strong speech skills with the ability to ad-lib effortlessly in various types of situation.
