Job alert - Senior Fundraiser, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent position - £24,680 - £26,538 per annum (Dependent on experience) We are in an exciting time of development here in the Fundraising and Retail department at St Oswald’s Hospice as we continue to build on our programme to put the donor at the very heart of what we do. Development of our current fundraising portfolio and integration of campaigns and initiatives to achieve best results is vital. We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic and exceptional Fundraising team. The role will initially lead our team of fundraisers to deliver the Fundraising strategy and objectives during a period of Maternity Leave. Subsequently the role will then have Corporate fundraising as its primary focus, securing high level sponsorships and Major corporate gifts and engagement. You must be resilient and have a solutions focused approach. Excellent customer service skills, drive and energy and a creative flair are all important qualities for this role. You will grow income by developing strong Corporate donor relationships, devising and implementing creative fundraising approaches. You will drive our Corporate fundraising plans, research and develop relationships with both new and existing contacts and deliver engaging presentations in order to secure support. Experience in a similar role (fundraising, sales team leader/manager, marketing or customer service) is required for this post and you must possess strong networking and negotiating skills. Experience of working to and exceeding targets is essential.
