Job implied that the treasure in the snow is reserved for the day - TopicsExpress

Job implied that the treasure in the snow is reserved for the day of battle (Job 38:22-23). God knows that somewhere in life you will be engaged in spiritual warfare. Drought will threaten to destroy your crops. Something totally unexpected will suddenly confront you, not allowing any time for prayer. You are going to need an emergency kit to make it. This is the treasure of the snow. You may see it in the “trial of a lifetime” as did Job; it’s when everything that you see is so disturbing that you have no choice but to trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). How is it possible that a river is flowing in your dark night of the soul? The breath of God swept across a mountaintop and melted a snow-cap. Somewhere in the past you prayed a prayer you thought went unanswered. You could not see any form of precipitation – be it rain, sleet, or snow – yet you continued to pray. You presently may be travailing for a loved one, and things are getting worse. The more you pray, the deeper they plunge. Thoughts of doubt assail you like flies swarming over a dead carcass; fend them off and continue to intercede. While hell is raging and Heaven appears silent, whisper a prayer. Your answer is not denied, just delayed, and the delay is for a greater good!
