Job in DC: Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington, Inc., is seeking a Counselor for Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mount Olivet is a beautiful, historic cemetery in NE Washington. The Counselor position involves extensive interaction with the public by phone and in person. The Counselor assists families with the purchase of at-need and pre-need services for burials and entombments. This incumbent will also perform a variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to processing insurance assignments and sales and inscriptions for markers and memorials. This individual will need to be able to maintain pristine records and files. Requirements Knowledge of MicroSoft Windows is needed, especially Word and Excel programs. Some office experience is preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Some college is preferable. The ability to work with grieving family members in a compassionate manner is also required.
