Horizon Nuclear Power are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Structures Engineer to support the Engineering Directorate in the provision of expert engineering services with responsibility for all technological aspects of the nuclear new build civil engineering design. Principal Accountabilities: • Act as a dedicated civil engineer within Horizon’s Engineering Directorate • Support the Head of Civil Engineering on a range of issues • Work with suppliers and the Regulator to ensure licensing and permitting requirements are met. • Review documents supplied by HGNE and other suppliers. • Execute duties as an Intelligent Customer. • Provide support to the licensing and permitting process for the new build at Wylfa and Oldbury. • Provide support to the Site Development and other directorates in relation to works at site. • Assist in the development of local procedures and working arrangements for the civil engineering discipline.
