Job opening CUSTODIAN The College of Wooster is seeking two full time Custodians, one opening on 1st shift and one on 3rd shift. Responsible for custodial maintenance in an educational/ residential environment. Must be able to sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, clean and service restrooms, dispose of trash, and other duties. Requires knowledge and operation of floor equipment and carpet care, ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be organized and able to work effectively with minimum supervision, and ability to work in a high-pressure work environment with changing priorities is necessary. High School diploma and 1 to 3 years related experience or training preferred. Previous custodial experience in an educational environment preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
