Job opportunity: Position Opening - Research Associate/Data Analyst Escoffery Consulting Collaborative, Inc. has a part-time opening for a Research Associate/Data Analyst. The successful candidate will work on grants funded by state and federal agencies. Activities will involve assisting in the development of data protocols; analyzing survey and demographic data; and summarizing results in full-length reports and one-page briefs. The successful applicant will join a team of professionals who are committed to addressing health and educational problems through research, evaluation, and technical assistance services. Duties - Reporting to the Senior Consultant, the Research Associate/Data Analyst is responsible for the management of quantitative data analysis and reporting. S/he will also be a key player in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation efforts. The Research Associate/Data Analyst is a part time position. Essential duties include: • Coordinate data management and cleaning. • Conduct data quality control and internal consistency checks. • Conduct multivariate analyses including logistic regression, multiple linear regression, and hierarchical linear modeling. • Interpret quantitative evaluation data and develop reports and briefs summarizing results and recommendations. • Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings with internal staff and partnering agencies. Location – Telecommute Qualifications • Advanced degree in research methodology • Experience and in-depth knowledge of quantitative analysis, including inferential techniques such as ANOVA, MANOVA, Multiple Linear Regression, and Hierarchical Linear Modeling. • Expertise using SPSS. • Experience with techniques that address challenges common to longitudinal and quasi- experimental studies. • Experience with data management and database development and maintenance using software such as Microsoft Excel. Compensation - Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
