Job, the Great Lie! - At 2.8 million births per year, 400,000 illegal immigrant births, and 65,000+ new work visas per year, we would need to be adding 272,000 jobs per month without fail to break even. Of course thats just to maintain the current unemployment, thus it is a mathematical impossibility for the US to recover to 2007 unless we start adding nearly 2 million jobs per month to make up for the massive numbers of long term unemployed. In short, recovery is simply not possible unless our GDP rises above 5% and our trade deficit falls by half.
