Priority will be given to current University of Bedfordshire students. Job Responsibilities: - Circulation activities - emptying and processing returned materials and preparing returns for items from other libraries - Shelving and shelf tidying - book stock and print journals - Picking reservations requests - preparing them for van collection - Dealing with incoming deliveries - post, new journals and reservations - Lost stock management - missing items to be noted in an Excel file Hours: 3 hours per day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays GBP 7.22 @ 12 hours per week up to 12 December 2014 (in the first instance) to start as soon as possible. 3 hours per day over the specified days is a business requirement, when the shifts are done (between 9am and 6pm) can be agreed between the successful person and their line manager To apply: Please forward a CV and Covering Letter as a ONE WORD document to [email protected] by 17th October 2014, 10am.
