Jobs and Football picks! (as usual you may favor different teams in these big games). On this week’s edition of Issues and Audibles, Andy and I discussed the new Congress and upcoming beneficial changes with a Republican-led Senate. The American people clearly want to see positive action in Washington that will create jobs and opportunities across our country. Specifically, the Keystone XL pipeline could create 42,000 jobs for Americans in manufacturing and installing the thousands of components involved in construction from iron castings, pipe, pumps, electrical components, concrete, tires, asphalt and native seed for land restoration-all made across the USA. For this weekend’s divisional NFL playoff games, I’m picking Baltimores DLine to upset New England, Seattle over Carolina, Dallas running game to upset Green Bay, and Denver over Indianapolis. In the NCAA championship on Monday night, I picked the fast, attacking Oregon offense over impressive Ohio State. Heading into this week, I’m up 53 to Andy’s 49 and Ann’s 45.
