Jobs at Modern Machinery Supplies-Ltd Trade Counter Sales Assistant We are a leading supplier of welding products, tools and consumables to industry. We have an expansive array of quality products, and supply to a range of customers province wide. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 2 Trade Counter Sales Assistants in our Lisburn Showroom. Key duties for the role are: • Providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers. • Liaising with existing and potential customers to develop new leads. • Serving customers at the trade counter. • Contributing to attainment of sales targets so that company targets are met. • Enhancing product knowledge in order to advise on products, confidently promoting benefits and alternatives. • General sales duties, responding to emails and faxes. • All duties pertaining to running a busy showroom, stock replenishment, merchandising, general housekeeping etc. In order to succeed in the role the ideal candidate will be: • Reliable and punctual. • Have a positive and flexible approach and able to demonstrate a flair for sales. • Be an effective communicator on the telephone, by email and face to face. • Computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Previous experience of Sage is preferable but not essential). • Be proactive, possess a can do attitude and positive about developing skills. • Enjoy working in a high pressure environment. • Previous sales experience is preferable but not essential.
