This entails 1.Management of pensions for Public Servants 2.Management of the Home Ownership Scheme for Members 3.Management of investments on behalf of the members 4.Undertaking any other business activities in the interest of the members In order to carry out its mandate successfully, PSPFB now requires the services of well qualified, experience and self-motivated candidates to fill up the following positions Actuarial and Research Clerks To collect and compile statically data to enable timely production of relevant reports Main duties To collect and compile data from various Government Departments for membership database updates and analyses purposes To compiles various Pension reports To prepare Adhoc statistical reports to aid Management’s decision making Qualifications 1.Full Grade Twelve Certificate with merit in English and Mathematics 2.Degree in Mathematics/Statics/ Actuarial Studies/Computer Science 3.At least tow (2) years working experience in a statistical Environment Skills and Competencies required 1.Excellent Communication Skills 2.Computer skills 3.Good customer relations 4.Report writing skills 5.Numerical skills 6.Organizational skills 7.Knowledge of Social Security Remuneration An attractive package on permanent and pensionable terms of employment will be offered in Unionized Salary Scale of G7 Office Assistant Job Purpose To provide courier services between offices or departments within the Fund or to other business house in order to support the provision of quality service to Fund clients Main Duties 1.To transmit files, information and other documents from one office to another 2.To carry and delivery mail both inside and outside premises 3.To perform general office works such as operating photocopying machines, scanner or running errands 4.To collect from Post Office, sort and distribute incoming mail 5.Lodging documents into court 6.Conducting searches on convencing documents Qualifications 1.Full Grade Twelve certificate with merit in English and Mathematics 2.Diploma in Business Management or any social science related qualification 3.Working experience a plus Skills and Competencies required 1.Physically and mentally fit 2.Time management skills 3.Planning and organizing skills 4.Good communication skills, both written and verbal 5.Confidentiality 6.Basic Office Machine operating skills 7.Computer literate 8.Remuneration An attractive package on permanent and pensionable terms of employment will be offered in Unionized Salary Scale of G 10 Loans Assistant 1.To facilitate the processing of Home Ownership Scheme loan applications and maintenance or accurate mortgage accounts Main duties 1.Handling loan client enquiries 2.Data capture and maintenance of the loan records 3.Raising payment vouchers 4.Collection of repayment cheques from ministries 5.Maintenance of ledger records 6.Reconcilitiation of mortgage accounts Qualifications 1.Full Grade 12 certificate with merit in English and Mathematics 2.Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration. Management or any Business related qualification 3.Bachelors Degree iin Business Administrations or in any Business related field 4.At least three years working experience in Loan Management Skills and Competencies required 1.Excellent communication skills 2.Computer skills 3.Good customer relations 4.Numerical skills 5.Knowledge of Mortgage management Accounts Assistant (Financial Accounting) Job purpose To update financial transactions in the accounting system in order to facilitate the timely preparation of financial reports that show the Fund’s financial position at any given time. Main Duties 1.Preparation of journal entries 2.Compilation of year-end audit schedules 3.Compilation and filling of VAT, PAYE and NAPSA returns 4.Compilation of staff payroll inputs 5.Assessment of staff 6. Loans 7.Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct 8.Processing of Loan Payments 9.Reconciliation of General Ledger with subsidiary ledgers 10.Updating of financial records Qualifications 1.Full Grade 12 Certificate with a merit in English and Mathematics 2.Bachelor of Accountancy Degree with two years relevant working experience 3.ACCA/CIMA part ii with three(3) years relevant working experience 4.Diploma in Accountancy with three (3) years relevant working experience 5.Registered Member of ZICA Accounts Assistant (Management Accounting) Job Purpose 1.To collect revenue to finance the Fund’s budget activities and updating of financial transactions in the accounting system in roder to ensure timely preparation and submission of Management Reports Main Duties 1.Invoicing of pension and rental debtors 2.Compilation of budget estimates for the Fund 3.Preparation of weekly, monthly bank reconciliations 4.Collection of pension contributions, government grants and other financial resources due to the Fund 5.Preparation of monthly, quarterly and half yearly reports on outstanding renatla and pension contributions 6.Updating financial records Qualification 1.Full Grade 12 Certificate with a merit in English and Mathematics 2.Bachelor of Accountancy Degree with two years relevant working experience 3.ACCA/CIMA part ii with three(3) years relevant working experience 4.Diploma in Accountancy with three (3) years relevant working experience 5.Registered Member of ZICA Executive Assistant 1 Job Purpose To provide high level administrative support services to the Secretary and Chief Executive for the PSPFB Main Duties The main responsibilities of the Exectuive Assistant are 1.Manage Senior Management Team calendar, plans and action items 2.Draft routine correspondence for Secretary & Chief Exectives signature 3.Provide assistance to the Secretary and Chief Executive for meeting preparation and planning events 4.Plan, prepare material; for and facilitate Board and Management meetings 5.Maintain record of official meeting minutes and other data files 6.Manage deliverables to Secretary and Chief Executive and provide any necessary reporting 7.Develop relationships with high level contacts of stakeholders 8.Schedule executive meeting and travel plans 9.Assisting executives in all possible works like meetings, preparing documents and presentations 10.Conducting research and in turn helps executive in making important business decisions 11.All the reports and data files are arranged in a perfect manner so as to avoid any inconveniences in business maters Qualifications 1.Full Grade 12 certificate with merits in English and Mathematics 2.Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or in any Business related field 3.Masters Degree a Plus 4.Five years post qualification work experience To Apply Candidates meeting the above profiles should submit their application letters with the envelopes clearly indicating the position applying for to the below stated address with not more that three paged CVs and enclosing certified copies of education and professional certificates including details of three contactable reference.
