And remember the SureStart Programme was ALL about buildings. It was about offering children and families hope. Hope to break out of poor health, poor educational facilities, poor lifetime opportunities, a chance to break out of inter-generational poverty, to increase social mobility. The building of Centres symbolised that HOPE. I am off to listen to Woody Gutherie and have a chill out pill.
