Joburg is the best place to be in December. It is quiet, there is not traffic, despite traffic lights not working most of the time, restaurants are empty and there is so much to do. I do not see the logic of following crowds to the Southern Cape or KZN. Go to Zimbali right now and you would be forgiven for thinking that you are in Sandton. Wifey and daughters decided that they want to go to this festival in EL and then proceed to Durban. Molefe, Mr. Feng and I decided we are not joining them. So the girls will hit the road and the boys will remain home. Its going to be fun!!! No one will shout at us for leaving towels on the floor, we will read in peace, eat whatever we wish and play music loudly. This will be the first time ever that we do not spend New Years as a family, but I am not willing to compromise. If the girls wish to hit the road, let them go. Abahambe!!! I am enjoying the peace and quiet so much that I even decided I am not doing January the 8th.
