Joe Cocker was born on May 20, 1944 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England as John Robert Cocker OBE. He has been married to Pam Baker since October 11, 1987. Joe Cocker has died after a battle with lung cancer in Swindon 22 December 2014, aged 70. He was an English rock star and blues singer, who came to popularity in the 1960s, and is known for his gritty voice, his spasmodic body movement in performance and his cover versions such as the best cover of the Beatles With A Little Help from My Friends, I Put a Spell on You, Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word, Cry Me a River, Respect Yourself, Dont Let Me Be Misunderstood, and many more, but then also for the hits such as You Are So Beautiful, You Can Leave Your Hat On, Unchain My Heart, etc. Gravel-voiced vocalist whose animated live shows.
