Joe Dorn The Band I was given: The Tragically Hip Do I like them? Yeah, I love the Hip! Especially listening to them on my own terms, not as an overplayed staple of any Canadian rock radio station. Best enjoyed anywhere with a lake. Have I seen them live? On Canada Day 2004... It was an outdoor show in Toronto, they were touring for their album In Between Evolution which I dont remember enjoying all that much, so they played a bunch of songs from that record that I didnt know. Still, I did enjoy seeing them live quite a bit. Favourite song? Fiddlers Green is a touching, delicate song that I love. My favourite though is probably one of Wheat Kings, Gift Shop, or Grace, Too. Maybe 50 Mission Cap if Im feeling especially patriotic or the Leafs are playing well. Like for a band.
