Joe Flizzows hip-hop journey takes him to the nation of beautiful islands and rich history, Philippines. Said to have the oldest hip-hop scene in Asia, he kicks off his quest to find out how far Pinoy hip-hop has come. Joe first meets D-Coy, a master rhymer in his own league who treats him with genuine Pinoy hospitality. D-Coy is a man with many talents as he also owns a hip-hop record label and clothing line under the empire by the name of Wika. He meets the local legends such as The First Lady of Rap, Lady Diane and Dash Calzado, a rapper whos worked with almost everyone in the scene including top producer, Lowkey. Joe hooks up with his homeboy, Jamir the lead singer of Philippines number one rock band, Slapshock. Jamir can definitely rock the stage but in the studio, hes an award-winning hip-hop and R&B music producer. Joe then hooks up with a couple of the freshest talents, Aikee Mentored by the master himself, D-Coy, Aikee is a teenage rapper whos been kickin it since he was 11 years old. From the streets of Tondo, Joe visits the under-privileged kids at Hope Foundation with long-time volunteer and hip-hop TV show producer, Angel Jones Dayupay. D-Coy then takes Joe on an educational trip as they visit Manilas historical landmarks such as Intramuros and Fort Santiago. The Thrilla in Manila proves to be too much to handle so D-Coy and the Wika family invite Joe to their vacation house up in the cool mountains of Tagaytay. For the first time ever, Joe and DJ Cza show their skills in cooking a wholesome Malaysian meal for his hosts and D-Coy does the same too.
