Joe Lilly! We had a conversation a few months ago about wanting to sit down with Ron et al, and discuss why we believe as we do. Id love to do that over the holidays. Ron will be in town. Id also recommend Mark Wampler; not because he believes as I do. He doesnt on a lot of issues. Last I heard he identified himself as a Libertarian. Anyone else? Our wives could certainly contribute. Not a short-buser in the bunch! Actually all bright, educated, articulate women with strong, independent opinions. Too large and it becomes a cluster-f***ck My take has a great deal to do with values, more-so than economics. Its who I am. In any event, I think the idea has merit. It would be fun too! And after wed exhausted the discussion and wine/beer, we could ALWAYS fall back on bridge! Does Joan play? This lady focuses on values. I find her genuine and courageous. She ALSO reminds me of an EXTREMELY attractive lady I used to have those kinds of discussions with in college, Julie Mee Sager (sp?). My Joan knew Julie too, though we (my Joan and I) didnt actually attend CNC together. We missed by one term. Julie was heavily involved in alumni organization. Joan and I just got too busy; kids do that to you. Im rambling, but...I just realized this fall. After thirty-two years...we have NO children. Its a bit numbing.
