Joe O’Connell and Blessing Hancock [Ballroom Luminoso] 노래방이나 클럽, 혹은 고고장 하면 무엇이 생각나시나요? (사실 저와 친하지는 않지만^^;;) 전 개인적으로 번쩍이는 미러볼 조명이 아닐까 하는 생각을 해봅니다. 오늘 마지막으로 소개드릴 것을 처음봤을 때, 전 미러볼을 떠올렸습니다만, 그보다 멋지고, 아름답다는 생각도 함께 했습니다. 공예가 Joe O’Connell 과 Blessing Hancock가 오래된 자전거 부품으로 탄생시킨 여섯가지의 화려한 샹들리는 텍사스 샌안토니오 IH-35거리의 지하도로에 설치되어 있습니다. Ballroom Luminoso라고 하는 이 샹들리에는 직접 제작한 LED의 빛과, 조명의 외관에 의해 생기는 아름다운 그림자들로 환상적인 분위기를 만들어냅니다. (사람들에게는 공공 예술을 즐길 수 있는 새로운 장소를 선물하기도 합니다). 자전거 부품들로부터 나오는 패턴이 만드는 주변환경은 정말 초현실적 일 것 같습니다 :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Joe O’Connell and Blessing Hancock [Ballroom Luminoso] Todays last contents is really lovely, and fantastical chandeliers. Artists Joe O’Connell and Blessing Hancock transformed old bike parts into six spectacular chandeliers, and hung them in the underpass of Theo/Malone and IH-35 San Antonio, Texas. ‘Ballroom Luminoso’ chandeliers contain a custom-made LED light installation, which turned the space into a magnificent shadow theater and a new spot for people to enjoy some public art. The bike parts create intricate shadow patterns and make the underpass look truly surreal.
