Joe is on one of his detailed cleaning sprees. I was banished from the TV room at 8 am to my bedroom. He has taken every piece of furniture out of the TV room, which is not an easy task as heavy as the leather sofas are. He took up the large area rug, which I assume is outside right now. He went, while I was napping, and rented a Rug Doctor, which he has been using on the carpet. The area rug tends to hang on to dog hair in the pile of the carpet so he is going to spray it down with the hose and use a hard bristle brush to shampoo it to remove the dog hair. In retrospect, I wish I had installed tile in the TV room instead of carpet. The little ones stay in there most of the time and the dog hair and dirt tracked in by them is bad for carpet and area rugs. That can be a future project, installing tile.
