Joel 2:1-14. It is very true that many of us got out of the water and we have been struggling to survive outside this water which is God’s presence in vain. Unlike a fish you are not helpless. A fish doesn’t have hands to surrender but I do, it doesn’t have a voice to confess and repent but I do. Brethrens we are not hopeless, we have hope in Christ. 2 chronicles 7:14 amazes me. If my people who are called by my name. This are not none believer. This is not heathens but the believers in Christ, the children of God who have missed a mark. The allegation by our accuser before God is no longer allegation but truth. Yes we have missed it big, but if my people….yes I look like a spiritual failure but if my people……….it really doesn’t matter how far you have gone, as long as you have hands and a voice, then that’s all you need. The bible says who knows. Our God is full of compassion. He is loving but we are not, we love with conditions, he is faithful , am not most are time am so unfaithful to him, he is holy , am not, most are time I struggle to live holy, I don’t about you but form e my body is more attracted to sin than holiness. You will never hear someone say I struggled to sin, uhuhuu. We always struggle to be holy. Sin looks more attractive, easier than Holiness but its poison coated with sugar to entice us. So today my dear brothers and sister I don’t know kama wewe uko sawa, mimi siko sawa. I need to get back to this water. Am worn out of struggling in everything yet I was created to swiftly swim irrespective of the storms around my life. All over the world the S.I. Unit or sign of surrendering is lifting up hands. Even if you are a serial, killer as long as your hands are up no one is supposed to kill you but rather capture you. No wonder fish doesn’t have hands to lift for them to signal we are dying please forgive us and take us back to water but you and I do have. Let’s surrender physically and in our hearts before him. The bible is clear. Psalms 51:17, 34:18 The sacrifice of God is a broken and contrite spirit/heart before him, not a million dollar tithe or offering, not a car, not a burnt offering, not a slaughtered goat but Just a broken heat before him. We are tired of living a mockery life as believers and the arrogant and even those who don’t know God at all proper while we struggle with even the basic necessities of life. Daddy am not hear to ague but to surrender. The evidence before you is true. Have mercy and restore me in to your presence. Fill me with your spirit and hid me in your presence. We are the work of your hands. Don’t forget we are clay and your are the porter. Show us and lead us into holiness. “Lord let me get lost and totally sold out in you. Amen
