Joel 3:13-14 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. As we look at this passage of scripture tonight, we see that the Lord says here for us to put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. He goes on to say that there are multitudes standing in the valley of decision, for the day of the Lord is at hand. Remember Jesus tells us that we must work in the day, for the night cometh when no man can work. He tells us that blessed is the servant, who when his Lord shall return, shall find him doing what He has commanded him to do. Like we have been talking about the last few nights, the last days are coming, the day of the Lord is at hand. John the Baptist came preaching, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand, and it is closer now than it has ever been. The signs of the times are all around us, the prophecies are being fulfilled right before our very eyes, and all to often we seem blinded to the fact that the time is drawing near and there are multitudes that would meet the Lord lost tonight if He were to come right now!!!!!!!! How many do we know that are lost? Are we telling them about Jesus? So often we use the excuse that we dont want to push them. Dear friends, first of all Jesus told us in the parable of the king that through a great supper to go into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that His house may be full. Second of all we need to understand that there is a big difference in not being pushy, and being completely silent and never even mentioning Jesus or Gods word to them at all!!!!!!!!!! We can share Jesus with them without being to pushy, but ignoring the subject and never mentioning Jesus or Gods word to them at all is not helping them either!!!!!!!!!!! We need to take a good look at what the Bible tell us in Ezekiel 3:16-21, And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. Several years ago the Lord laid a message on my heart entitled, Are your hands bloody? Think about this passage, Have there been people in our paths that we should have talked to, that we should have shared the Lord with, that we should have witnessed to? People dont understand why we think its so important for us to stand for the truth, for us to speak the truth. Because I already have enough to answer for, my hands are bloody enough already, I dont need any more blood added to my account!!!!!!!!! What about you? Do you realize that the bible tell us that the bible tells us in Matthew 12:36 that, But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. In 1 Corinthians 3 Paul tells us that every mans work will be tried by fire, whether it be of gold, silver, or precious stones, wood, hay or stubble. Dear friends, I have asked this before, but where is our burden for the lost? Where is our desire to reach them for the cause of Christ? Philippians tells us to let this same mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, well Christ Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. Are we? Jesus said that He would leave the 99 to go search for the 1 lost sheep that had gone astray. Will we? Are we? The great commission tells us to go into all the world and teach every nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, and teaching then to observe all things that He has commanded us. Are we fulfilling the great commission. Acts 1:8 tells us that we SHALL be witnesses unto Him. Are we being His witnesses? These are things that we Christians need to give some serious thought to, because the days are drawing close. The end is coming and the valley of decision is full of souls. The harvest truly is ripe, but the laborers are few. Are you ready to grab your sickle and become a laborer for the Lord? Think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
