There is some truth to that, but the Ewoks dont really bother me. It was originally supposed to be Wookies, but we already had Chewie at this point so Lucas chopped them in half, shuffled some letters around and viola, Ewoks! The best part of this film was the final confrontation between Luke and his father aboard the new Death Star.
