Joey tolerated his feeds today and they slowly increased from 5 ml an hour to 15 before I left. He will be NPO (no food) after 2am in preparation for the cath lab tomorrow. They were weaning his oxygen down, so he went from 6 liters at 70% yesterday to 4 liters at 50% when I left. He had some really good time today where he was alert and happy, looking around, following peoples faces and toys and moving his arms and legs. He also got in some good rest and was sleeping like and angel. Tomorrow he is 2nd on the list for the cath lab, but the first patient may have a complicated case, so no real idea of what time he could go in. It could be at 9am or it could be later in the afternoon.I will be there early in the morning and hang out all day. I will keep everyone posted on what happens and when he goes in. Overall he had a very good day. He has so many fans among the staff. Nurses, doctors, and therapy staff not only come to service him, but also stop in just to visit and actually argue about who is taking him! I love that!! He is a popular little boy. He is so loved by so many people. And by his God, who has his hands on him. I am tired and have another long day tomorrow, so goodnight all! God bless!
