Joey update: He went to see the vet today for a follow up and the vet was VERY pleased with how hes doing. Nice PINK gums, putting on weight nicely and fecal came back NEGATIVE!!! The vet felt he was healthy enough to start him on heartworm preventative, flea preventative and give him a series of vaccines, he goes back in 7 days to get a booster and then in 14 days to get the rabies =) Although I knew the answer to this question I though Id still ask the vet if Joey could attend the Dogtoberfest this Saturday, but just as I suspected she thought it would be best not to. So hopefully Joey will be able to make it for the next event =)
