Joffrey Ballet is looking to fill a Staff Accountant position. The Staff Accountant oversees the organizations treasury function and creates cash journal entries. Other key responsibilities include completion of month-end tasks related to cash, and filing of taxes. S/he is prepared to assist with other tasks in the Finance Department as needed. Bachelor degree in Accounting CPA eligible or CPA preferred Minimum of 2 years as a Staff or Treasury Accountant, preferably with a nonprofit organization EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 2+ years of related work experience Blackbaud Financial Edge and treasury experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to apply that knowledge while problem solving Superb Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and time management skills Detail-oriented and analytical.
