Jogathon Warisan - 20 April 2014 Category - Women Open Position - 3rd Time - 43.55 for 8.65 km Its my second year in runninf this event. I got pretty excited for a couple of reasons. Firstly, this I decided to challenge myself! Instead of running the Women Senior Veteran which is 45 years and above. I entered the Women Open. Then I also wanted a longer run for this event. I wanted a 10 km but alas the 10 km was under distance so it was only 8.65 km. N the most important this about the only event where we ran in a cemetary!! I put my running into test in the open category n I surprised myself, coming in 3rd! I am pleased with my result too. An hilly terrain n gravels stones course. Was pleased to do abt 5 n 1/2 minutes pace. The coming week I am getting ready for track n field in Simgapore next week organised by thr SAA Singapore Athletics Association for Masters. Lots of hill repeats n sprints are in my menu...
