John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. The Word became flesh: Jesus Christ. Everything in this earth was created through Him. It is fitting then that through His sacrifice alone salvation and eternal life are offered freely. Think about verse 4, “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” Know today that you are adored and cherished. Everything hinges on the Word, who IS God and is with God. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: the Triune God who is in perfect harmony serving each other and loving us. God wants us to be with Him, and we come to be with Him by grace through faith in Jesus. That has been the loving design of our Father in Heaven since the beginning.
