John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothng was made that was made. John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Russell Bowman:Literally, the power and energy in God himself released (spoken) energy (e=mc squared) that was then created into mass, the BIG BANG, the stuff the universe is made of. Science has not disproved God, it has shown us the power of God is far greater than any of the ancients would have known! Then we get into biology to discover the immense diversity of life on this planet, and what is involved with each creature, how it was made. Again, the power of God is revealed to be far greater than any ancient would have known. God is far greater than men can understand, and those that try to understand him end up humanizing him, limiting him with their finite minds that cannot understand the power of God, the intellect of God, the creativeness of God, is so great we have no place to challenge his word, the Bible, because he is in deed able to create a universe that appears to be billions of years old when it only took him six days! Praise God, all you his creatures!
