John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” Lazarus has been dead four days, and Martha tells Jesus that she believes he will rise again in the "resurrection at the last day". (vs. 24) Then, Jesus points to Himself as the resurrection and the life. Today, read this verse as if Jesus is speaking directly with you. Read it as if He speaks to you about your life, in whatever circumstance or situation - because He IS speaking to you about your life. Our Lord Jesus IS our very life! We breathe in life instead of death every day because of Jesus alone. Lazarus risen is prophetic truth, pointing to Jesus as the author of life itself.
