It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” Hello Everyone, I know it’s been a few days since our last update, so if you’ve fallen behind, like me, I’ll quickly catch you up. God seriously tested our trusting in Him for our plans. In a short time last week we went from going to UAB, to going to rehab, to coming home with Daniel. He isn’t healed and strong enough for rehab but he’s well enough to leave the hospital. It was either skilled nursing in Florida or Alabama or bring him home with us. We brought Daniel to Springville on Saturday and he is staying with us until he can go to rehab. We’re all adjusting to quite a few changes and I’m sure there are many of you who have cared for a loved one at home too. Daniel is actually a big help here. So far, he’s almost talked Cheryl into a 70” LED TV, so selfish, and he’s helping us to eat much healthier. One of our biggest worries was that Ruby and Ozzy would jump on Daniel’s bed. So far there’s just a lot of hand licking and strange looks, from the dogs. I’m swearing off Starbucks since I gained 15 lbs in the last month, and it doesn’t have anything to with all the food everyone shared with us. Prayer Request Cheryl, Daniel and I need help adjusting to the new normal. We need strength for healing and support. We need patience with each other. We need help in dealing with insurance, doctors and all that comes with long term care. I’m going to cut updates to once a week unless there is a major development. I need time to work on my new book and I’m having a hard time with the title but here are a few thoughts. “The Influence of Starbucks on the Growth and Decline of Hospitality” “How to Order Starbucks for Dummies” “If You Can’t Trust God Who Can You Trust?” “Living With Your Family. It’s All Relative” Again we are grateful for everything.
