John 15:13 (NKJV) 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to - TopicsExpress

John 15:13 (NKJV) 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. There is no greater love than to lay down our life for friends (or anyone). That gave me the visual of a soldier laying his body over a grenade to save his platoon. In ancient Greek that verb is active so the sentence says theres no greater love than to continually, daily, give up our life for friends. We all sacrifice, whether it be for God, other people, animals, but please realize we all do it for material gain. We all have idols. An idol is something that gets in the way of our relationship with God. Harsh reality that almost all people choose to stay blinded to. No matter to me. Help the struggling. As for the proud... Throw them back in the river, and keep tossin em back in until they are humbled. LOL, jk, help everyone. Why throw em back? Spoiled, ungodly, fattened, envious, slanderers, ungrateful, selfish, judgmental, proud... that list could go on and on. Really think about if you wanna remain my friend. We hurt the proud but readily give grace to the humble - both are forms of love whether you realize or not. Surgical healing truths for the humble. As for the proud... We slice away to get to dat pwoud wittle heart. For the humbled soul, contrite in realization it offended God Almighty, Who does nothing but love us... for you is kindness, mercy, gentleness and grace. For you, Christ will gladly pour His blood over your sin and Holy Spirit into your heart, mind and soul. Amen. Now you see how i see. Heroes arent spoiled, unaccountable, justifying liars but people who love others as much as themselves. Tryin to keep these posts concise. God bless you richly, humble you to purity, and ready your soul for rapture. Christs love for us is what we need to focus on. Theres some notes on my page that explain the 4 types of love found in Scripture. Have a awesome day. Oh, and out of those 1,000s of people watching, there was only 2 who loved others as much as he loved their own life. Lenny Skutnik and Harlan (forgot last name) who died in the process of saving them. Both showed extraordinary compassion we all should. Greatest commandments are to love God totally, the byproduct whould be loving others He made in His Image as much as ourselves. We want and should allow God to give us ability, attitude really, to attain both. Most have problems with 1 or the other. Agape (Uh-gah-pay), in ancient greek means sacrificial love, the greatest love and essence of Gods love. https://youtube/watch?v=eXSQ9YGQvOI
