John 16:24, Ask and you will receive. And your joy will be the fullest joy. I love this one. Teaching your children about God can be difficult. Children are a mix of logic, always asking why, lol. And they love magic at the same time. And getting them to understand that God is everyones parent, can be hard. So, much like when children ask u parents for things, sometimes we have to say no. But, coaching them to always ask. Because the worst thing we can do is say no, right? And, its very much the same as when we ask God for things. Teaching our children the right way to ask, and what to ask for. What I get at home is a lot of , I wish, or I need better luck. Which is really too precious. But my response is alway the same, we do not have luck, and we do not wish for anything. We have faith. So, you should pray and see what happens..... drives Mason nuts, lol. If your child is young, and they want a lego set, a good prayer would be, Father, please help me to do what my parents ask of me, so that I may earn this lego set, amen. If your child is an adolesant, and they need a really good report card, a good prayer might be, Father, please help me to get all my school work done and remember to turn it in on time. If your child is a teenager and they are prepping for a big test (any, scholastic, socially, etc.) here is a great one, Father, please help me to have courage, strength and wisdom to perform the way you want me too, so that I can share my success with you first! And so that I can have the future that you want for me, amen. And with this is diligence. They should pray for what they need until they get their result! Amen!
