John 3:19-21 Now this is the basis for judging: that the light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. But the one who practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God. The light that has come into the world is Jesus Christ. Just as the disciples did, we as believers in Christ carry this light with us and place it on display through our changed lives! Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16) Sadly, there are those in this world that love darkness, and therefore will not come into the light for fear of the light, and fear of a false shame. Forgiveness and a changed heart is found in the light, not shame and despair. Lord help us live in the light always!
