John 5:15 The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews persecuted him. Sadly, healing actually makes some people angry, often people who should know better. Sometimes you see this in a marriage when one person takes a few steps down the path to wholeness and it indirectly puts pressure on their spouse to deal with some of their own baggage. The same thing happens in other kinds of relationships as well. The bottom line is: Don’t expect everyone to be happy when God makes you whole! Likewise, if someone elses healing is upsetting you, ask yourself why and ask God to help you turn it around as inspiration instead.
