John Carter Religion says that one must be water baptized to be - TopicsExpress

John Carter Religion says that one must be water baptized to be saved in Acts 2:38. Look at Acts 2:40 and tell me what one is saved from: 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. I fail to see hellfire and some after death experience anywhere in Acts 2 but this is what religion wants us to believe. If we were born and raised on an island without theologians whose only job is to confuse things then would you find Acts 2 about frying in hell or an after death experience? No, you can see that it had to do with destruction (2:19-20). We can also see that United States, Brazil, Great Britain, China, Russia, and Australia nowhere mentioned, so you would be on some island fearing that your island is in trouble because of Acts 2? No, as nobody would be running to get water baptized on this island to be saved from some after death experience nonsense. Religion would only cite Acts 2:38, close their Bible, and then add hell-afterlife experience fable from other religion/pagan. All you have to do is cite 39, and 40 to get the contextual understanding of what Acts 2:38 is referencing to.
