John Crosby explains the importance of having a Nomlaki Constitution for the stability and success of the Paskenta Tribe or any government. Since the constitution was established, the Tribal Council has acted in behalf of the Tribe to create a positive reputation in the community and nationwide. This positive reputation has allowed the Tribe to diversify into multiple million-dollar businesses and donate millions of dollars to its local community. Now with the instability that has ensued since April 12th, the Tribes reputation and future business prospects may be in jeopardy.
