John, It’s official -- Today I filed my candidacy for Governor of Texas. It’s full steam ahead from now until next November. I am running because we need to create quality jobs in Texas, improve education, and give our veterans the respect and care they deserve. I am running because the promise of Texas made it possible for me to go from a tiny trailer, to a successful business, to the state Senate. But today, that same story might not be possible.
