We had our own way of life and to this day we are very proud of the pathways our ancestors created for us. To be quite honest Im sure if we werent colonised our country would not be so polluted and our native animals wouldnt have become extinct. We would be able to still live off the land and not fear death from poisoning of our crops. And no we fought for our lands and are still fighting for our sovereignty and governance over our homeland Aotearoa.
