John Lloyd update - John is holding his own. He was sitting up in a chair when I came in this morning. Still in ICU - hopefully to a regular room later today. Still no food other than applesauce and pudding. Speech pathologist is getting ready to work with him to be sure he has no issues with swallowing before they graduate him to regular food. Definitely not steady on his feet - his balance is way off due to the loss of hearing. I can really see the swelling on the left side of his face and head today. Same issues with the nerves in his face. Expecting a Sunday discharge. My heart feels for him and Im so sorry he has to go through all of this!
