John Malouff- can you please clarify especially in the academic world the difference between the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology to gain a fourth year qualification and the fourth year honours that everyone desires. Yes I know both are accepted by APAC and need additional supervision after these courses. I know honors sounds more prestigious. Is the entry requirements the same GPA? Is one more higher ranked than the other or does that depends on GPA for intake? Is one perceived or is more prestigious than the other? Does one course or the other find it easier to gain a supervision placement? Is one more research based and one more practical? Different unis offer different course components so its hard to compare. Thanks for your help, I have posted this on out General grad dip and have gotten some replies as well.
