It determines how an individual sees the world and interacts with other people. A person’s attitude—positively if it’s good, negatively if it’s not—always inp0acts his p0erformance, regardless of the talent, track record, or circumstances. Teachers and students expected to succeed, they increased their potential fro success. Attitude had mad all the difference. Your attitude determines the team’s attitude Your attitude—how are you doing? Think the team wouldn’t be able to get along without you? Secretly or not—believe that recent team successes are really attributable to your personal efforts? Keep score when it comes to the praise and perks handed out to other team members? Have a hard time admitting when you make a mistake? Bring up past wrongs from your teammates? Believe that your are being grossly underpaid? Talk to your teammates, and find our it your attitude is doing damage to eh team. If you think you have a bad apple on your team, you need to take the person aside and discuss the situation with them. Take the high road as you approach the person, share what you have observed, but give them the benefit of the doubt. Assume they your perception might be wrong and your want clarification. However, if your perception turns out to be correct and the person attitude is the problem, give them clear expectations and an opportunity to change. Then hold them accountable—if they change the team wins—if they don’t remove them from the team.
