John ODowd on Nolan Show starts his reply to ICTU s Peter Bunting by comparing the Trade Unions opposition to the Stormont Agreement to Republican and Unionist Dissidents. Talk about Stalinist and Fascist tactics. Blacken your opponents by linking them with dangerous socio-phobes. ODowd goes on to deny there will be 20,000 job losses ....until he is played a clip from his Executive partner, Jeffrey Donaldson....who confirmed that figure. He then goes to to say that ....... there may well be a difference in interpretation between the two main parties. Maybe its just me..... our two-party dictatorship clearly dont have the same interpretation of the Pay Day Loan Agreement. The DUPe leader tells us the Shinners have agreed Welfare Cuts, the Shinners say there is total protection of benefits. The DUPes tell us reduction of Corporation Tax will create 50,000 jobs, the Shinners say they dont know cos the rate hasnt been fixed. The only thing that we can expect from the DUPes and Sinn Feign is job cuts, cuts in Education, Health and other Services and a low wage economy for the bulk of our people. March 13th should be used by all to highlight the damage that the Begging Bowl Stormont House Agreement will do to our society.
